I think NY and CT are different, there's no homework for Seb, so I don't know what he has really learnt every day, but I know he loves his new school, coz it's all play!
Homework is good for kids to review and practice in daily basis, I have to create our own homework for Seb to write and do every day. I guess NY schools have higher standard than CT or other states, good for Nini!!

NY標準有比較高嗎? 我有西岸的朋友跟我說，他孩子要會100 sight words了耶...
nini的老師說今年底要會25個sight words...

我還在想紐約市的教學跟人家比起來怎麼差那麼多....
nini preK的時候全都在玩，功課有，但是室和爸媽一起完成的，撿樹枝、樹葉啦、用各種材質做building...這種勞作。我覺得很好玩!!
我覺得這些東西，遲早都會的。這個階段讓孩子enjoy school 開心上學比較重要!
